Born in 1970 in Paris, Illinois, Bryan Hand has been creating art for as long as he can remember. After a stint touring Europe as a tuba player in the Army Band, Bryan moved to the Emerald Coast of Northwest Florida, where he has lived and worked since 1993. Once there, he discovered a community of artists who have encouraged and influenced his talent.
Bryan is best-known for his colorful, realistic acrylic paintings. Most famously, his painting on the front door of the popular Red Bar in Grayton Beach, Florida has become an icon of the South Walton beach community. In addition to acrylics, Bryan also works with pen & ink, charcoals, and abstract paintings.
